Proud Proud Proud :)

Novel word count. About half way through. Becky wants it to be a trilogy. I don't think that that is going to happen. Haha :) Just thought I'd share my happiness. Back up time now. Byeeee xxx

Little Update

Got a phone call yesterday after applying for a job in a new toy shop opening soon. Had the interview this morning and I think it went well. So fingers crossed please, I would like this job.

Went raspberry picking at the local farm the other day and while crossing the bridge I took at photo of the Motorway beneath.

Had a fiddle and a play around editing it and now, it looks like this...

Which, personally, I think looks pretty awesome. :)

Would really like to do a night shoot with long exposure on the camera though. So I'd get all the blurry movements from the cars and lights ;)

Thats all, Byee :)

Torchwood

Okay, Torchwood is the best show going. Like, ever. Spin-off to the re-vamped Doctor Who, its fourth series starts on Thursday. :D

So this is the original team of Torchwood Three, Cardiff. Left to right. Ianto Jones (deceased), Gwen Cooper, Captain Jack Harkness, Toshiko Sato (deceased), Own Harper (deceased and disintegrated). Brilliant show. Brilliant acting. Brilliant casting. The part of Gwen Cooper was written especially for Eve Myles. Plus, a I am little bit in love with John Barrowman a.k.a Captain Jack Harkness. Don't care if he's homosexual. A revolutionary show with practically all of the characters being bisexual. Like Doctor Who, but for adults.

Entering series 4 and it will still be incredible, despite just two of the original five remaining. :( All the rest got killed off. :'(

Now that writer, Russell T Davies has finished Doctor Who he focused all his attention on Torchwood and it is set across the pond in America and, funded by americans, has a budget of over £1 million per episode. Roll on the next ten weeks :D

We are ready for you Torchwood!

'Excuse me. Have you seen a Blowfish driving a sports car?'
'Bloody Torchwood.' :D

Harry Potter... The Phenomenon.

For my generation, Harry Potter, both the books and films, have been a key aspect of our childhood. Last night was the final films premiere. There were signing and photographs and speeches which made me tear up. J.K Rowling told global fans that "Whether you come back by page or big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

Emma Watson broke down in tears, Rupert Grint told Emma and Dan that he loved them and couldn't describe what Jo Rowling had done for gingers. :) Daniel Radcliffe thanked his entire future career on Jo and the films. He truly is the perfect Harry.

The three of them at each Potter Premiere. It is incredible just how much they've progressed and changed. Harry Potter has been and will always be in my heart as it was my whole childhood. I will cry for the tragedy of the story and the sadness of the end of an era. There is no doubt in my heart that this film will truly be mind-blowing.

It is incredible how one author can bring such joy to millions of people and inspire an entire generation, and the rest, to read books, in this coming technological age. The films are all british, cast and crew, and were casted perfectly. I am so glad that the cast did not change throughout all eight incredible films. They will always belong to us, even if America have Harry Potter World. Which I will one day visit. :)

A loved story, even after the end, will always live on in our hearts. Harry Potter Forever! :D

Top Tip For The Day

Top Tip For The Day;

Just come back from the local farm that does PYO (pick your own) Strawberries. Great idea. so me and Mum have been munching away... Mmmmm delicious :) Okay, so they charge you buy the weight but when you get home you have to de-hull all the fruit you just picked. So my Top Tip is; De-hull your strawberries in the field so that when they charge you by weight, you're not paying for annoying green bits that your going to thrown away anyway. Therefore saving money that you can spend on more delicious strawberries. Sorted.
